Looking to the horizon and addressing the needs of trainers and trainees 

Our aim is to provide ongoing support to your specialty trainees and quality supervisory training to your faculty trainers.  You may wish to view the learning pathways available to doctors in training and trainers to help you offer appropriate support and direction.  You too may find some of the trainers' opportunities of interest and we welcome you to book on to courses.  We also offer you enhanced educational opportunities and below we list courses that have been designed for both new and experienced Programme Leads.

 The Supported Return to Training (SuppoRTT) initiative provides a comprehensive and structred package to support doctors and dentists in training when returning back into programme after a period of absence.

This session provides details on the SuppoRTT process and essential knowledge on the specific responsibilities of a TPD.  It explores some return-to-work challenges and presents opportunities and routes for doctors in training to stay up-to-date when absent from programme.
