How do I borrow a book?

Simply pop into Bourne House to browse and collect or call 0191 275 4790 for a book to be sent via Royal Mail (postage cost applies).

How many books can I borrow at any one time?

You can borrow up to three books at any one time for a maximum of four weeks.

How much does it cost to use the library?

The service is free. All we ask is that you return the book in the agreed time frame and in the condition in which it was borrowed. If you would like a book/ books sending to you through the post you will need to pay all postage costs.
