Seven year trend analysis
Trend analysis provides year-on-year trend reports showing the outlier results (also known as red and green flags) for your location or specialty over the last seven years. Using these reports you will be able to see how results have changed across time. All reports can be downloaded from the related documents section below.
Programme group by Trust
This report provides results for trainee responses based on their programme group and linked to the trust or board where they were working at the time of completion. For example the O&G programme report includes O&G trainees only.
Programme group by school
This report provides results for trainee responses based on their programme group and linked to the HEE School in which their specialty is based. Reflecting the example above, O&G programme report includes O&G trainees only.
Post specialty by trust
This report provides results of all trainee responses by the training post or department in which they were working at the time of completing and may include trainees from multiple training programmes.
As an example the O&G post report includes all trainees working within that department or post and will include not just O&G trainees but also trainees from other programmes such as Foundation or GP working in that department.
Trainer Results
This report provides results of trainer responses by the training post or department in which they are working in.

Guidance
You can find a brief description for the outlier analysis in the GMC reference guide. Question items show the individual questions that form each indicator result. To see the question items for a particular indicator, click on ‘local’ mean scores. You can also find brief instructions for indicator analysis in the GMC quick reference guide. For any indicator result, you can view the question responses that produced the mean score. To do this, click on the category or bar you want to see the questions for and choose question items.
